Date: 2008-12-28 09:54 pm (UTC)My mother bought a complete early-edition set of the Books of Knowledge at an auction. I think I read all of them when I was 10-12; it's where I learned that fairy tales were very, very good before Disney tainted them, amongst other amazing things.
She's saving them for me until I have a place to put them. Gorgeous, wonderful books.
