FUCK ME. The song about the burger, with a processed voice, one of the great mysteries of life I've been trying to identify since about 1982? Sausalito Summernight, by Diesel. It's just come on the classic rock radio I'm playing thru iTunes at work. HOLY CRAP. I was starting to think I'd hallucinated it.

(Also recovered while we were Up Over this year: The Itch, by Kix, a song I had totally forgotten but instantly recognised when it came on the radido.)

Ah, yes, Sausalito Summer Night! One of my fave eighties tunes! It's also one that I wrote an essay about in high school (we had to write about a song we liked). It got me an A!

It's also one of the first songs I ever purchased from iTunes. Because I hadn't heard it in years and I missed it.
