It's either 27 degrees or 37 degrees, depending on which Web site I look at, but in either case it's been perfect weather to hide in the one air-conditioned room in the house and flail about with the novel. I desperately need to get a few synonyms for "grin", though.

My favourite synonym found in a fic was "bared his teeth in a happy way". This was a human character, btw.

Can't think of more synonyms, but all I do is grin sitting on a drilling rig doing 12 hour shifts with a true Paul McGann look-a-like. Oh, other things that come to mind: *sigh* and *thud*
