Zine update

We already have two preorders! You go, people!

Set up the layout in InDesign today. It looks really good, much better than I'd visualised. I've gone for a slightly unusual design - eight pages half A4, that is, 297 mm high by 105 mm wide, stapled top left. (Hmm, envelopes could be interesting.) I want the cover image to bleed to the edge and I have an evil plan to make this possible. Mwa ha ha ha hahahaha!

Ahem. Who knew desktop publishing could be so megalomaniacal. Suffice it to say I'm having ball - except that I've never used InDesign before. Talk about a baptism of fire. There was much cursing and swearing in the first hour, I can tell you.

I can cram in one more drabble or one more small illustration in if anyone's desperate to contribute! :-)

More zine!

... suddenly realised, talking to Jon just now, that adding another 4 pages (that is, the equivalent of 2 more A4 pages) will cost a pittance and mean better value for buyers. Let's do it!!! That means we have space for at least one more 700 word article. Still need it by Friday though!
