Theologically, is the "word of God" as in the Scriptures identified with the Word of God as in the logos?

OK, lemme see. Under "Word of God" in the Anchor Bible Dictionary we get several pages on the Hebrew dabar, "the word of God", meaning: communications from God via speech but also through dreams, visions, and other routes; the creative power of God's words; and the expression of God's will. (I think the latter two are something like the Greek concept of the logos, though it's not mentioned.)

Bit more in a, erm, in a bit.

Just watched the first episode of The Professionals. In which a baddie pulls the pin from a grenade and holds it inside Pamela Stephenson's top for no adequately explored reason. This gives sanguine thugs Bodie and Doyle an excuse to evaluate her breasts through their binoculars. Eventually one of them rescues a panicked Ms Stephenson by hitting her in the face and cutting open her top with a switchblade. At the start of the next episode, our heroes discover CI5's new recruit: the "good news" is that she's not a lesbian, but the "bad news" is that she's a feminist, so if you want to fuck her, you'll have to let her beat you at martial arts. Or something. I don't think I can stand to find out - that first episode had terrible sound, made no sense even when you could understand what they were saying, and was generally packed with seventies ugliness of every possible kind. At least The Sweeney had recognisable human beings (even women)! I'd rather read Bodie and Doyle's elf slash adventures.
