I bought so much Kpop that I have a song stuck in my head and I don't even know what it is.

Still better than yesterday, when I was earwormed by a relentless mashup of Gangnam Style and the Crookers remix of We Are All Prostitutes.

I have two trades: one is being able to write a publishable piece of fiction, and the other is being to winkle obscure information out of the nooks and crannies of the Internet. Though I think the latter is less a matter of skill and more a matter of sheer bloodyminded obsessiveness.

Stream of (sort of) consciousness

1. Ah crap, I forgot, we gotta go vote. Not sure if I'm mentally competent, frankly. I'll prove it by voting for Arthur Askey or Onew or a cupcake or Pssthpok or something.

2. Is making a female character "fiesty" feisty the modern equivalent of making a female character "plucky", ie, attaching a veneer of competence or importance while actually not making the character any more significant to the story?

3. What the hell was 3. going to be?

4. Not all that modern - Queen Thalira becomes slightly less of a doormat as Curse Monster of Peladon progresses, but her actions and decisions still make no actual contribution to the plot.

5. Still can't remember what 3. was.

Australia: safe for democracy once more

Jon's first time voting as an Australian citizen! <3 <3 <3 Oh teh panic.

If it's not obvious, I am hypomanic right now, but the Epilim appears to be doing its job - I am high, but not getting higher, nor am I bewildered or feeling like I'm going to fly away. I am, however, chewing poor Jon's ear off. Well! *claps hands* Now to record a double live album.
