Don't you guys have the quickest sun-exposure related skin cancer rates too? I seem to recall some wildlife show that went on and on about how many pets developed skin tumors. Something to do with a gaping hole in the ozone layer, just like the ones over california and new york.

The greenhouse effect and ozone depletion are different problems, but I think you're right about the skin cancer. We're a mostly White population, many of us living in tropical areas, and those in the cooler southern parts can find themselves under the Antarctic ozone hole. So not surprisingly, we've got the highest skin cancer rates in the world.
