Sylvester McCoy, who played the Doctor in Doctor Who in the late eighties, tells a great story about watching Fawlty Towers while living in a tiny one-room flat with his wife and newborn son. He would have to run out, close the door, "roar in the hall", and then come back in to watch some more!
