I has an insulin pen. It's painless, and easy to use; I even gave myself a teensy shot (1 unit lol) in the doctor's office.
My blood sugars have been rubbish all year, so the new doc is sending me off to the dietician and (later) an exercise program. In the meantime, I just zap myself with some slow-acting insulin at bedtime, which will work through the following day to help pull down my glucose levels.
I am so looking forward to getting those levels back down. I'm very tired of being tired, let alone having blurry vision on and off and having to wee all the time.
Not bad for someone with a swingeing fear of needles eh. :D
