Reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. Naturally I can't stop mentally comparing it with Blade Runner. I am delighted that not only was the film location shifted from San Francisco to Los Angeles, but the scene at the opera was shifted to a strip club.

I admit to never reading the novelisation, but I do adore the film. I wish they'd release the original version, not the director's cut, on DVD though. I like Ford's voiceover...

Ooh, I love Do Androids Dream. I've never been a fan of Blade Runner for some reason, but the book's just wonderful I reread it earlier in the year. I'd forgotten just how funny the book is, as well as its moments of soul crushing despair.

Howdy everyone, btw.

That's not a novelisation. The book came first.

...I *meant* novel. NOVEL. *headdesk* This is what I get for replying to things when I've been awake for twenty hours.
