Ladies and gentlemen Up Over - in light of the US election result, I'd like to ask you all to donate to, or better still join, or at least bookmark, one of these organisations:

NARAL - Pro-Choice America

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

NOW - National Organization for Women (their pop-up made me laff)

Not every American reading this will agree with the goal of keeping abortion legal in the US, but most will. This crucial right is going to be under serious attack over the next four years, and if US citizens don't strongly stand up for it now, you will lose it.

Why am I not surprised to see that Ohio gets an F?

I love my town and my community & my house, my cat, my nearby family (folks next door). But damn, why do we have to be in Ohio????

I dreamed in the time between the artificial sun going off and the sound alarm going off that I awoke to our chosen morning DJ announcing that W. had unilaterally revoked Roe v. Wade and that abortion was now illegal in all forms and was having the entire GLBT community moved into a "separate but equal" community.
