I think I just broke the soil. 300 words - one character explaining her backstory to another, in lieu of just writing up that backstory as notes. ETA: 600 words total.

Date: 2005-10-31 05:13 pm (UTC)I look back on the days when I wrote a 100K word novel in six months, and I wonder how I did it. Of course, that was fanfiction, which was way easier than original, but... I think the thing that slows me now (besides life, the universe, and everything) is too much self-editing as I go. I now resolve to spew out the messy contents of my brain onto the hard drive, and edit later. :P
