Things which "Manchild" has

1. Nigel Havers' nose
2. Anthony (Stewart) Head
3. A Timelash connection (the actress who plays Nigel Havers' nose's ex gets zapped by the Borad right at the start)
Come to think of it, I reckon you can easily play Six Degrees of Timelash. Paul McGann to Timelash via just one actor, easy-peasy. David Tennant to Timelash, let's see... hey, simple, two actors. Sarah Michelle Gellar: four actors (is there a shorter route)?

Date: 2006-01-16 05:35 am (UTC)No episode of 'Buffy' has a Timelash Number higher than 3, and most have a Timelash Number of 2.
No episode of 'Press Gang' has a Timelash Number higher than 3.
ISIRTA and ISIHAC are not TV series, but they share Tim and Graeme with each other and with 'The Goodies', no episode of which has a Timelash Number higher than 3.
Mark Gatiss is in an episode of 'Little Britain' that has a Timelash Number of 2. (No episode of 'Little Britain' has a Timelash Number higher than 2; one episode has a Timelash Number of 1. This, incidentally, means there's at least two different paths between "Timelash" and Anthony Head.)
Rob Shearman and Paul Cornell have both written episodes of 'Born and Bred'. One of the regulars in 'Born and Bred' gives any episode he appears in a Timelash Number of 2; I can't say of my own knowledge if that includes the Shearman and Cornell episodes, but I expect it does.
Russell T. Davies wrote 'Dark Season', the second story-arc of which has a Timelash Number of 2.
I think I'll stop there. Got anything more challenging?
Footnote: I'm using a more precise definition of "Timelash Number" than Kate. (Most obviously, it has a like-entity restriction: in the same way that only actors can have a Bacon Number, only TV series episodes (including multi-part storylines like "Timelash" itself) can have a Timelash Number.) Three more examples:
- Paul McGann is in 'Our Mutual Friend', which has a Timelash Number of 1.
- David Tennant is in 'Blackpool', which has a Timelash Number of 2 (via 'Our Mutual Friend'!).
- Sarah Michelle Gellar is in (take your choice of 'Buffy' episodes), which has a Timelash Number of 2.
