Interestingly, August 8th is Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbors' Porch Day. I am not certain that an August 16th Sneak a Spiky Melon Into Your Neighbors' Yard Day necessarily follows, however.

My mother sent my dad to the store for some kiwifruit, and he mis-read the sign and brought back kiwanos instead.

You know those sneaky kiwis, they could be trying to insert their new bland, tasteless fruit into the minds of Aussies as well. :)
