In solidarity with National Coming Out Day in the US, I present a brief list of Women Whom I Would.
In no particular order:
1. Jennifer Saunders

Has the most beautiful face in the world. I would never sully her with my grubby mitts, I would only worship her from afar.
2. Julie McCrossin
Her tight dresses on Good News Week used to do odd things to me. I have not been able yet to track down a photo which does justice to her voluptuousnessness.
3.Davina That's cheating!
3. Nana Visitor
Oh those hips! I gotta find a picture of her in that episode where they go to Vic's and she wears that frock.
4. Mira Furlan

Especially now she is hard and wiry in Lost and looks like a Riding Woman. She can read me Too Many Daves any time.
5. Melissa Leo

Seen here as Kay Howard in Homicide: Life on the Street. Also notable is that silly film about the eunuchs.
6. Melissa Etheridge

Her raw sexual power could turn concrete gay. D'you remember when she came out, and kd lang was like jumping around like crazy? That was so kewl.
Pictures stolen from everywhere. I feel certain that if I've left out someone significant, Jon will remind me of them.
Of course, it's easy for the hetgirl to play at being bisexual: I have a socially sanctioned relationship (and a certificate to prove it). And the truth is, I've never had as intense a crush on a woman as some of the ones I've had on certain men. But since it costs me nothing to say that love is a many-gendered thing, I feel I have no excuse not to say it.
