Anyone else get a weird sore throat when their period starts? Before I twigged about the timing, I always thought I was coming down with a cold.

Not so much a sore throat, but I get a dry one no matter how well hydrated I am.

I generally do. Not a proper sore throat but that odd stretchy tingly feeling round the tonsils that can also mean you're coming down with something.

Took me ages to figure it out, too. I think the human body is built to forget about periods on a physical level - you've got to force it into the rational brain to remember the detail, I find.
