dreamer_easyAhem. Having disgraced myself with versification, now my impressions of the movie, which I've started watching. (I tend to watch stuff in chunks rather than all in one go.) Pleasingly, the dialogue is all right. But there is something cruel about the casting:
Here's Brad Pitt as Achilles. He can't act worth a damn.
On comes Orli as Paris. His character is a total bore, but nonetheless, he pwns Pitt.
On comes Eric Bana as Hector and pwns Orli.
On comes Sean Bean as Odysseus and utterly pwns everyone so far.
And then: OMFG it's PETER O'TOOLE AS PRIAM. THE REST OF YOU CAN JUST PACK UP AND GO HOME. HA HA HA HA.
