One of the countless things they left out of Battle of the Planets: Mark and Jason ninja backstreet dustup. Watch for Mark's "Damn these white slacks!" moment. :D

The more I watch, the more I realise how much this cartoon affected my tiny forming brain. Princess was obviously the inspiration for Hora, daughter of Horus, my first ever fantastical alter ego. And I'm now pretty sure that Jason was my very first pre-adolescent TV crush. :)

Ooh, and I understood a bit of Japanese! Jinpei, in a tight spot, comes out with: "Kami-sama!" Subtitle: "Oh, God!"

Hee. Watching some Science Ninja Team Gatchaman with Jon and heard Tiny Ryu come out with a real life "Yatta!".

I so want to learn some Japanese. Any language which ends the sentence "I'm a trickster who doesn't know solitude" with the word "trickster" has to be worth investigating.
