dreamer_easyAnd look closely at the Doctor, in those first couple of seconds after Rose gets zapped. This is a guy who does everything with words - tricks the baddies, convinces people to change sides or to become heroes, everything. His mouth is moving, but nothing is coming out; there aren't any words to fix this.
Also, between the Ninth Doctor and Jack, there is enough testosterone in this story to make me grow a beard.
ETA: The Doctor can't even hear any more words - the guard's voice fades into nothing.

It's actually kind of funny, the way they mock reality television. The Doctor never seems to be in any real danger in the Big Brother house, and Jack's having a ball with the makeover droids. It's a cheery lighthearted romp, and then they do that to us.
