Trip running smoothly, despite the inevitable illness. Here are a couple of post-election analyses from the Washington Post you may enjoy. It's so easy to get the impression that everyone right of centre in the US is a raving loon, but of course the nutters and extremists are only the loudest voices. The first article argues that the power concentrated in "Big Corporations" is as dangerous as "Big Government"; the second sympathetically profiles a dismayed and puzzled Romney supporter. She's not stupid; she doesn't doesn't recognise that America is not a monoculture.
