dreamer_easyAm attempting to watch the 1989 Around The World With Eighty Days with Pierce Brosnan and Eric Idle. (I mean they're in it, not that they're sharing the sofa with me, cats, rubbish etc). IT IS TEH SUXX0R ZOMG. Brosnan is perfect casting as Fogg as neither one ever displays any form of facial expression but OMG NOTHING IS HAPPENING. The whole point of the story is the desperate haste and this miniseries is all about DAWDLING. Even Mr Brosnan's awesome posture (and it is awesome) is not enough to hold my interest.
(French writer; English character, Irish actor; French character, English actor. It's like The Moonbase, or any of those futuristic stories made in the sixties which are International because they have a French guy and a Scottish guy or something.)
