But if there's another post with a spoiler without a cut (and I *swear* I posted with a cut, html must have screwed up), could you warn instead of instant deletion? Because I'd have liked to keep the comments (and I'm sure anyone else with 10+ comments on an entry), and it was also up for hours and no one had complained. I'd have fixed if I'd realized my cut didn't work. Not gonna bother to repost, because frankly, I think most people had already seen it.

I just don't understand why there wasn't even a warning. That's all I want to know. Most other comms give people a chance to fix spoiler cuts like that, or at least any time I've ever forgotten/had a broken one I got a warning first so the post wasn't deleted along with all the comments. And nobody had even complained yet. I was just curious on your modding decision there, especially since there's some other macros on the page not behind a cut that are massive spoilers to somewhere that Series 3 hadn't aired yet. ( this post (http://community.livejournal.com/ihasatardis/103941.html) comes to mind.)

I'm not trying to troll or be mean or anything, I'm just legitimately curious. I apologize for using your personal LJ; I just didn't know how else to contact you.

The image you used was the biggest surprise and scare in the whole episode. I emergency deleted it before you spoiled some poor fanboy's enjoyment of the story. If you want to keep the comments, save the email notifications.
